When the hydraulic pressure is acting on the pistons, the cam rollers are pushed against the slope on the cam ring that is rigidly connected to the housing, thereby producing a torque. The cam rollers transfer the reaction force to the piston which are guided in the cylinder block.
What is hydraulic orbit motor?
Orbital motors convert hydraulic energy (pressure, oil flow) into mechanical energy (torque and speed). Sauer- orbital motors are of fixed displacement high-torque design. For a given oil flow and given pressure the displacement (size of motor) determines the speed and torque.
